Kayla Martell, former Miss America Finalist, will be guest speaker at a no obligation Women’s Hair Loss Seminar scheduled for Tuesday, September 15, 2015, sponsored by Trinity Lace Wigs & Unisex Salon in San Antonio, TX.
More than 30 million women have thinning or significant hair loss, yet it still remains a taboo subject and women are suffering in silence, not knowing where to go or who to trust.
This event is part of a national tour to help educate women on the newest technology and advancements in hair loss treatment.
Learn the specifics about recent approval for low-level laser therapy and success combined with trichology treatment.
At age 11, Kayla Martell lost her hair due to Alopecia. Yet, she dreamed of being in the Miss America pageant. She competed several times without hair, not knowing that she had options. She was proud to be herself!
After a judge suggested she do something about her baldness, she searched and found her solution. Kayla jokingly says “you need hair to pin on the crown!”
Attending a focus study for women with hair loss, Kayla and national hair loss expert, Rhonda McCarthy, were shocked to hear about the women’s frustrations of not knowing where to go or who to trust.
Neither their doctors nor hair stylists knew what to do beyond testing to ensure there wasn’t an underlying condition. “So many women blame themselves, thinking they did something to cause their thinning hair” says Rhonda. “Not knowing where to find help is the reason we started this national tour, now in its third year.”
“It’s so rewarding to meet with women throughout the United States and share our common bond” says Kayla. “We have so much fun at these events, sharing stories and seeing the look on their faces when they discover that they have options. No one wants to leave, it’s so emotional and joyful!”

The Women’s Hair Loss Seminar will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2015, 6:30 – 8:30pm at Trinity Lace Wig and Unisex Salon, 7400 Blanco Road, Suite 111, San Antonio, TX 78216.
