Hairline International to Conduct Live Hair Transplant to Showcase Vertical Harvesting

The procedure, which will be aired live through a webinar on February 11, 2015, from 11 a.m. to 6 .m., will also be conducted in a unique way by making use of patient’s own hair.

Students of dermatology and other medical students and doctors interested in witnessing such a procedure can just log in from any part of the world to see the FUE procedure.

The hair transplant is being performed by Dr. Dinesh G Gowda, Senior Dermatosurgeon at Hairline International and will be conducted for around 12 to 14 hours.

Commenting on the vertical harvesting technique, Dr. Dinesh said, “In hair transplantation, there are several methods of harvesting hair from donor area like Punch Graft, Multiple Bladed Knife, Single Bladed Knife Excision etc.

Vertical harvesting is the latest excellent technique for minimizing scars while the hair is exiting the scalp and optimal yield of the donor area in FUE technique.”
