The only requirement is that the patient participates in Dr. Parsa Mohebi’s new video documentary on the hair restoration process.
“There is a lot of misinformation out there about hair transplantation,” says Dr. Mohebi. “The aim of this video is to make the process clearer. We want to refute any misinformation out there and destigmatize the treatment in general.
Nearly 60 million people in the United States suffer from hair loss—it’s time for people to realize that this is a common problem, and that there are attainable solutions out there for them.”
The winning patient will be a part of the definitive hair restoration video, demonstrating the procedure and its effects, and bringing the patient’s journey to light.
“We want to show not only how easy a hair transplant is, but how extraordinary the results can be,” says Dr. Mohebi.
The winner will receive a complementary hair transplant, valued between $10,000 and $16,000. Depending on the patient’s needs, the procedure may be either follicular unit extraction, in which hair follicles are removed individually from the donor area, or the traditional “strip” method, in which the grafts are harvested via a strip of skin.
The best treatment option will be determined by Dr. Mohebi and the patient prior to the procedure.
To enter the competition, patients should submit a video (no longer than five minutes in length) detailing the reasons they should receive the free hair transplant, and how the treatment would positively impact their lives.
Video submissions will be accepted via the Parsa Mohebi Hair Restoration Facebook page until January 16, 2015, and the winner will be announced on January 23, 2015. For more information, patients can call 888-302-8747, or email info(at)ParsaMohebi(dot)com.
