Women’s Hair Loss Seminar To Be Held At Lucinda’s Hair In Cheshire, CT, September 23, 2014
Lucinda’s Hair is hosting a free Women’s Hair Loss Seminar on Tuesday, September 23, 2014, with guest speaker Kayla Martell, 2011 Miss America finalist.
Kayla knows the devastating effects of hair loss; she lost her hair at age 11 due to Alopecia.
Thanks to the help of her Mother to deal with teenage years and her self-esteem, Kayla went on to fulfill her dream of being Miss Delaware and a finalist in Miss America Pageant.
Now, Kayla is touring the US, sharing her personal experience and helping women to understand the causes and solutions of hair loss.
The end result is all women should “feel feminine and look beautiful”.Additional guest speakers are nationally recognized hair loss experts, Rhonda McCarthy from Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Flora Fuentes from NYC.
During the seminar speakers will provide insights into the causes and stages of hair loss and provide detailed information on solutions now available.
“We are a sisterhood of 30 million in the US with hair loss and we need to talk about it,” Rhonda states. “We are committed to making this a very uplifting and educational experience. Any woman dealing with hair loss or thinning hair should know what her options are and that she is not alone!”
Flora adds “We’ve had so much fun at these seminars. Attendees have been very open with their own experiences which opens a dialog that benefits everyone. We have to finally call it an evening because no one wants to leave!”
Hosting this event is Lucinda Beaty, owner of Lucinda’s Hair, who is a 30 year veteran in the hair replacement industry. Her accreditations include memberships with the National Cosmetology Association, Alopecia Areata Foundation Support groups, Master Certification from the American Hair Loss Council and board member of the Hair Society.
Lucinda was awarded the Torch Award for the highest standards in ethics and conduct by the CT Better Business Bureau. Lucinda has had a weekly consumer educational program Monday nights at 8:00pm on the Cox Cable channel 15 since 1997.
Lucinda has received numerous awards over the years for her service and dedication to fighting hair loss, including the American Cancer Society’s “Look Good Feel Better” Sunshine Award and Chamber Member of the Year in 2012.
Recently, Lucinda was presented with a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition by US Congress in recognition for the 2014 Special Support of the Community Award from the Cheshire Chamber of Commerce.
