Hair Solutions of Long Island Hosting Women’s Hair Loss Seminar
Two Women’s Hair Loss Seminars are scheduled for Tuesday, October 13, and Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Hair Solutions of Long Island in Commack and Levittown. Kayla Martell, former Miss America Finalist, will be guest speaker.
Having lost her hair at age 11 due to Alopecia, Kayla understands the emotional toll of losing your hair and not knowing what to do.
Kayla competed for Miss Delaware, at first without hair, then she found her best solution and went on to win Miss Delaware 2010 and was a finalist in Miss America pageant in 2011.
So many female entertainers admit to wearing wigs and having hair extensions, but no one ever admits to hair loss.
It’s still a taboo subject, and most women feel ashamed as if they have caused their hair loss. It’s kept a dark secret!
Kayla is speaking out, bringing focus to women’s hair loss and education on what are the causes and newest solutions now available to women.
Additional speaker will be Rhonda McCarthy, national-renowned hair loss expert from Ft Lauderdale, FL. “Thirty-million women in the US suffer from obvious hair loss, and most, not knowing what to do or where to go, tend to be depressed and often drop out of life socially,” says Rhonda.
