Rogaine Foam Hair Loss Treatment
What is Rogaine-Foam?
Rogaine is a vasodilator. Exactly how Rogaine works to regrow scalp hair is not fully known. It may dilate blood vessels in the scalp. This may improve hair follicle function and stimulate scalp hair growth.
Rogaine-foam remains the only foam hair loss treatment that’s been clinically proven to help stop and even reverse hereditary hair loss.
Rogaine gets to work by boosting the flow of blood to your hair follicles, helping to strengthen your hair and encourage new growth.
What to Expect
While results may occur as early as 2 months, it may take at least 4 months to begin to see visible hair regrowth. After that point, it’s important to continue using Rogaine products every day in order to maximize and maintain your results.
During the first few weeks of use, there may be a temporary increase in hair shedding. This is a good sign and means that the new growth cycle is beginning. However, if it continues after two weeks, see your doctor.
How to use Rogaine-Foam
Dispense ½ capful of foam, part your hair, and apply in the area where your hair is thinning. Use your fingers to massage throughout the hair loss area and then wash your hands. Apply in the morning and at night and just let it dry. Continued use is necessary to increase and keep your hair regrowth, or hair loss will begin again.
Step 1:
If you’ve had a shower, towel-dry your hair and scalp, then part your hair to expose your scalp
Step 2:
Dispense about half a capful of Foam into your hand
Step 3:
Apply the foam directly to your scalp and massage on the affected area. Wash any residue off your hands, and that’s it done!
Propecia Possible Side Effects
Rogaine foam may cause dizziness. This effect may be worse if you take it with alcohol or certain medicines. Use foam with caution. Do not drive or perform other possibly unsafe tasks until you know how you react to it.
Rogaine is for topical use only. Avoid getting Rogaine foam (for men) in your eyes, nose, or mouth. If you get Rogaine-foam in your eyes, wash them out with cool tap water.
