11th Annual Children’s Alopecia Project Spring Fundraiser

Alopecia kidsOn Friday, March 13th the Children’s Alopecia Project will host its 11th Annual Spring Fundraiser at the Crowne Plaza Reading.

The 1st CAP Blues Spectacular! Featuring Jessy Carolina & The Hot Mess, Lili Anel and straight from Memphis Tennessee, the King of Beal Street, Preston Shannon!

This is the only adult event held by CAP and is their largest fundraiser of the year.

The Children’s Alopecia Project was founded in 2004 by Wyomissing resident, Jeff Woytovich and is the only federally registered tax exempted 501(c) 3 nonprofit in the world devoted specifically to children living with the incurable autoimmune hair loss disease, alopecia.

“For 10 years, the Spring Spectacular was more successful each year but it was time for something new for the 11th year”, says Woytovich.

“We are moving in a different direction for 2015 with an authentic musical event with R&B, Memphis Blues and Traditional Jazz/Blues! We are excited to have internationally known and respected bands performing for all to see this year!”

The CAP Blues Spectacular will be like the past Spring Spectacular events with the addition of world class blues music. The evening offers a full service open bar, authentic blues influenced food stations, CAP Kid & Family Speakers from Mexico City & Pennsylvania, silent and live auction items and cool raffles.
