Hairline International to Conduct Live Bi-follicular Hair Transplant of 16,000 Hair Follicles
Hairline International Hair and Skin Clinic will conduct a bi-follicular hair transplant of 16,000 single hair follicles, the whole process of which will be transmitted live via a webinar on July 22nd and 23rd, 2015.
The procedure will take place at the RT Nagar and Whitefield outlets of Hairline International respectively and will be conducted by Dr. Dinesh G Gowda, Senior Dermatosurgeon at Hairline International.
The webinar will be aired live from 11.30 AM onwards. The procedure on each day will be of 7 hours duration.
Dermatology students as well as medical professionals interested in the procedure will be able to log in from any part of the world to the webinar.

The bi-follicular technique will present a revolutionary and effective technique to manage hair loss.
The procedure will be conducted in a unique way by making use of patient’s own hair from his scalp and beard combining both the FUE and FUT methods.
Speaking on the uniqueness of the procedure, Dr. Dinesh says, “In order to achieve a denser look, we are making use of a bi-follicular unit wherein a family of two follicular units are transplanted two rows behind the frontal hairline. It may also be implanted into the vertex and mid-scalp to achieve a denser look.”
Usually around 6000 hair follicles may be transplanted in a single FUE session.
However, with the combined FUE of the scalp and beard as well as the FUT of the scalp, up to 16,000 single follicular units may be implanted across the two-day time frame of this transplant.
