Beverly Hills Hair Transplant Surgeon Now Expands Social Media Outreach to Address and Answer Patient Questions
In order to reach the widest possible audience with the latest news about hair restoration, Dr. Parsa Mohebi is expanding his presence on social media starting with a greater number of weekly posts on the social media site, Quora.
Dr. Mohebi, founder of Parsa Mohebi Hair Restoration, says “The days of patients simply calling your office for more information are long gone.
The Internet has created a number of avenues for patients to interact directly with physicians in order to get the information they desire. Social media outlets such as Quora allow me to address patient concerns directly and in a timely manner.”
In addition to answering patient questions on Quora, Dr. Mohebi has expanded the reach of his Snapchat videos by making them available to anyone interested in viewing a hair transplant surgery.
According to Dr. Mohebi, “The response to our Snapchat videos continues to grow as we post daily stories. Snapchat allow anyone interested in undergoing a hair restoration procedure to get a look behind the scenes of the operating room as the surgery is performed.
The ability to show a hair restoration procedure as it is being performed, as well as share each step of the surgery in detail, takes the mystery out of a hair transplant and helps lessen the fear of the unknown for patients.”
Dr. Mohebi’s Snapchat videos can be found on his website and can be viewed by anyone whether or not they are currently on Snapchat.
One other social media platform Dr. Mohebi is utilizing to reach out to patients is Reddit. “I like that I can show the pop culture side of hair restoration,” says Dr. Mohebi.
“From hair restoration in the movies to celebrities suspected of having a hair transplant to pro athletes with various degrees of hair loss, it is fun to show both casual readers and patients on Reddit that hair restoration doesn’t always have to be a serious topic.”
Dr. Mohebi plans to include videos showing questions from his actual patients as well as more behind the scenes content featuring how hair transplant procedures are planned and performed.
Dr. Mohebi stated, “As long as there is a desire from the public to learn more about hair restoration, my team and I will provide interesting and educational content designed to inform the public in a very entertaining manner.”
